Dieting the Right Way is Simple

There are all too many fad diets simply littering the place these days.  It has become all too common to open a newspaper or magazine to see another z list celebrity pimping out a new style of dieting.  A style that catches on for a few months before disappearing as people realise it doesn’t work or is dangerous.

But that doesn’t stop new fads coming up, just for the cycle to happen all over again.  The problem is that whatever early gains are made most of these fads will eventually fail and you will end up putting the weight back on, or often more.  The worst can be dangerous, making you ill and weak.

Diets Need to Be Based on REAL Scientific Understanding

This is not because dieting is wrong, it is just that a diet needs to be based in real scientific understanding.  Our bodies need certain food groups in certain amounts in order to keep going.  So completely eliminating certain aspects, even fat, is not good – it deprives us of what we need.

Make Sure Your Body Gets What it Needs

What this means is that to diet the right way we need to be ensuring our body gets what it needs.

For example simply calorie counting is fine, but when you start eating too little your body will enter starvation mode.  This means that what little food you are consuming it now saves as fat to be called on when needed, whilst it uses for less calories to do everyday tasks and can leave you completely lacking in energy.  So you put the weight back on despite being on a diet, with the added disadvantage of almost no energy.

Creat a Diet Plan

Dieting the right way is simple.  It is about creating a diet plan that ensures that you have all the essential food groups, nutrients, vitamins and minerals that your body needs.  Cutting out carbs or fat won’t work because your body needs them.

Dieting the right way is about managing amounts, not about cutting out important aspects of our diets. Doing so is dangerous and should be avoided at all costs.
